Cities with fastest growing home prices in the Providence metro area

It goes without saying that the coronavirus pandemic has unleashed a wave of uncertainty across countless industries, and other markets haven’t felt the impact as much as real estate.

The pandemic is the driving force behind the continued real estate boom, with high demand for vacation homes and a limited supply of housing prompting buyers and investors to bid up affordable properties, causing home prices to soar. The ability to work remotely played a role in vacation home demand in the mid-2020s, as affluent Americans decided to ride out the pandemic with more amenities and space outside of dense urban areas.
