Of course, we decided to ask them some questions about music and video games. Here’s what they had to say …
What is your favorite video game soundtrack?
Most FIFA games, when I’m in training mode, all those different songs get me into my feelings, just like I’m in the game playing alone and in my isolated space.
Who is your favorite video game music composer?
There are too many composers out there to actually pick one particular individual.
What is your favorite video game?
Which game inspired you to make music?
None actually, the music has been engraved on the soul level from my own existence and there is no level in any game that you can get to, unless you know the purpose and this is the key to unlocking the last level within the game that is life.
What video game are you currently playing?
FIFA and I are looking forward to the next game. It’s almost therapeutic when I hear “EA Sports is in the game”.
Would you ever like to write video game music?
I would love to write video game music, however, it really has to synchronize with the experience of the game and its emotions, especially when the game has reached a level where it is getting harder, and then the music has to match that level of intensity in order for the player gets the encouragement and spirit to be successful in completing the game to the end.
What would it be like?
I would say that songs should be emotional, for example, for epic battles and that needs a soul element in the music which is the style of the music I sing and contemporary RnB.
How important is music for video games / video games for music?
Much, as without music in anything in life, I would say it could get very boring, especially when there is an epic adventure in a game where you need music to help you, or just like getting out in training mode in FIFA with a some samba music, ah, it goes so well together!
