Kendrick Lamar’s crown is the subject of controversy as he wears it on the cover of his latest album, Mr. Morel and The Big Steppers.
Teamed with creative collaborator Dave Free and jewelry dealer Tiffany & Co, the crown consists of a total of 50 bristles with a mix of straight, bold and pink thorns.

What is the story behind the crown?
The crown was a collaboration between Dave Free and Tiffany & Co., according to Vogue.
Free, who co-founded the media company pgLang with the rapper, says, “The crown is a divine representation of the hood principles outlined by a digestive young lens.”
