Muncie-area homes sold steadily at a median price of $129,900

At the end of July there were a few homes for sale in the Greystone Farms subdivision in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  Across the United States, median home prices were $449,024, down 0.2% from the previous month, Realtor.com data shows.

A typical Delaware County home listed for $129,900 in July, unchanged from a month earlier, an analysis of data from Realtor.com shows.

The median listed home price has increased by nearly 9.9% since July 2021. The average home in Delaware County is 1,726 square feet and is listed at $91 per square foot.

The Delaware County market was busy, averaging 32 days on market. A month ago, homes had an average of 28 days on the market. The market added 124 new home listings in July compared to 148 added in July 2021. The market ended the month with about 164 listings of homes for sale.

Average home prices given by Realtor.com may exclude more or more homes on the market. Price and volume represent single-family homes, condominiums or townhomes only. They include existing homes, but exclude most new constructions and pending and contingent sales.
