The price of NBA 2K23 Championship Edition has been leaked, making it the most expensive in the series’ history

Along with the revelations about NBA 2K23, a new report may have leaked a full day before the prices were announced.

Yesterday, we got the exciting announcement from 2K that Michael Jordan will once again grace the cover of this long-running series.

It’s far from the first time, but Jordan has received two unique editions this time around, including NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition and NBA 2K23 Championship Edition.

As seen on the covers below, one features Jordan himself, while the other features #23 in his unforgettable Chicago Bulls jersey.

When announced, 2K stated that pre-orders for NBA 2K23 will not go live until Thursday, July 7, 2022.

Before that official disclosure, A New report from 2KIntel The prices of each version of NBA 2K23 have been leaked.

According to that report, the standard edition will have the same regular price, but it’s the other two editions that break the mold.

The expected price of NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition is $100, while NBA 2K23 Championship Edition will apparently be $150.

Last year, NBA 2K22 75th Anniversary Edition was their most expensive option at $100 for the pile of in-game prizes.

While the report has not been confirmed at this time, 2KIntel has been accurate in the past and these details all appear to be credible.

NBA League Pass is a great value in NBA 2K23

Along with their report on pricing, 2KIntel followed up with details on the expected NBA 2K23 pre-order rewards.

However, it’s the three rewards exclusive to NBA 2K23 Championship Edition that really stand out the most.

First, players receive a 12-month NBA League Pass subscription, which typically costs $15 per month or $180 for a full year.

Anyone already planning to snag an NBA League Pass for the year might want to grab NBA 2K23 Championship Edition for an annual savings of just $30.

On top of that, players will receive a Michael Jordan themed go-kart to use in NBA 2K23, a huge bonus for game modes where most players can only start at skateboard speed.

Finally, players with Championship Edition will receive a permanent 10% XP boost in MyTEAM and MyCAREER season progression.

Again, this information is leaked and not yet confirmed, but we should know for sure when the official land reveal is on July 7, 2022.
